INPA opens a call for Transnational Access once a year during the fall. The call allows scientists to apply for a funding grant to travel and get access to INPA research stations for a specific research proposal. The proposals are reviewed and evaluated, notifications to on the granted TA are sent before the summer field season starts. INPA provides them with guidance and support to arrange their vists to the station in collaboration with the station managers and staff at the infrastructure.

“Adopt a Research project” is an INPA initiative to support science in the Arctic. The whole amount of your donation will be employed to fund research projects of the Transnational Access program.

Once you donate through the “Adopt a Research project” option, you will get a printed document of your commitment to support Arctic Science. That is the beginning of your journey towards the research station. You will be asked to provide a email address where to contact you: you will be assigned with a research project according to your subject or location preferences, and you will be notified of steps the scientists will undertake during the research project execution.
